Good weblink for Latin and English versions of various ancient stories.

The above link was a site I frequently used in the past to aid in my translation work, or if I just wanted something new to read. Another thing to try, is to pull open two tabs, and open the story in a different language in each tab, and try to read the Latin by placing the English in the Latin words place. My class and I used to do this on paper, and my instructor called them “Latin-over-English sight translations.”

You read the English story, and looked up the Latin words, or used your textbook to follow the story and put the appropriate Latin word in place over the English word in each sentence.

Cheers!
